How does Add to Event work?
Add to Event connects people organising events with the best suppliers across the UK - completely free to use, with no booking fees or commission.
Step 1: Send a request
Tell us about your event and the services you need by completing a quick form. We can help you find everything from catering and entertainment to photography and décor.
We'll pass your request on to the most suitable available suppliers in your area.
Sending a request is free and only takes a few minutes.
Step 2: Receive quotes
Interested suppliers who are available on your date will review your request and send you a personalised quote.
You'll be notified by email as quotes arrive, and you can view them all in your Add to Event account under My Quotes.
Each quote includes the supplier's message to you, their price estimate, images, and details about their services.
Suppliers also create custom shareable quotes - a professional branded page with their full quote message, profile information, photos, FAQs, reviews, and contact details - so you can get a real feel for who they are before you commit to anything.
The page is fully mobile-friendly, so you can browse quotes on the go - and if you want a second opinion, you can share the link with a friend, family member, or colleague, even if they don't have an Add to Event account.
Step 3: Review and compare
Open each quote to read the supplier's full message and view their shareable quote page.
Have questions? Use the built-in chat to message any supplier directly through the platform.
Step 4: Choose your supplier
Once you've found the right fit, simply click Choose Supplier on their quote. We'll notify them straight away.
If you want to stop receiving new quotes at that point, you can close your request.
⭐️ Please note: businesses pay to respond to your requests and send you a quote, so it's important to respond to everyone. You can hit the "Decline" button to decline & select a reason which provides helpful feedback to the suppliers who have sent you a quote.
Step 5: After your event
Once your event has taken place, you'll have the option to leave a review for your chosen supplier.
Reviews help other organisers make great decisions, and they mean a lot to the suppliers on our platform.
Is there any cost?
Making a request, receiving quotes and chatting with suppliers is completely free. We don't charge organisers any booking fees or commission. This helps you get the best rates with the suppliers and find the best choice for you.
